Home Call-out Repairs and Upgrades 

Home visit or pick-up service for repair of computer hardware or software problems, hardware upgrades, operating system upgrades, virus removal, £30 per hr. with a minimum charge of £15 .

 

Workshop Discount

Bring your computer to my workshop and I will do the work at a reduced rate of £25/ hr.

 

Anti-Virus Services

Virus removal at standard hourly rate. 

Anti-virus Home Set-up. Protect your computer from virus infection, spyware mal-ware and hackers.  I will install all necessary software and provide simple tuition with guidelines for insuring your computer's security. All inclusive price of £75.

Anti-virus Tune-up. If you already have an anti-virus application, but don't know if its virus definitions are up to date, or want to be sure it has been effective, I will perform a complete evaluation of your system, give you a clean bill of health and bring you up to date with the most current protection available for your application. Includes tuition.

 

Broadband Set-up

Do you need help installing broadband, or setting up your internet connection?   I can advise you on how to choose a broadband provider, install the hardware and can even supply parts and accessories.

 

Home Office Set-up

Connect your home's computers together in a local area network (LAN). Share resources like internet connection, printers, files, storage space and even some applications. Monitor your children's activities remotely.

 

Tuition

Are you new to computers, or in need of specific intstruction? Would you like to learn to use the internet, or become familiar with a particular software application? Would you like to be able to create a website? Set up an internet business? One-on-one instruction coupled with freely available tutorials will get you up to speed at your own pace.

 

Back-ups 

Learn how to keep all of your computer's data safe in the event of hard drive failure.

 

Data Recovery

Has your computer died? Your data may still be recoverable. Charged at standard hourly rate.

 

Computer Recycling

I will pick up obsolete or non-working computers or parts and either re-use them in system refurbishing or dispose of them in an ecologically responsible way for a flat fee of £10.
