Computer Repairs and Services

Repairs Upgrades	Home visit or pick-up service for repair of computer hardware or software problems, hardware upgrades, operating system upgrades, virus removal, £30 per hr. with a minimum charge of £15 . *No Fix No Fee: There is almost nothing I cannot fix, however occasionally the cost of repairing a computer would exceed the cost of replacement; if this is my assessment you will pay nothing.

Anti-Virus Services	Anti-virus Home Set-up. Protect your computer from virus infection. I will inspect your computer's current condition, install anti-virus software complete with the latest virus definition files and provide simple tuition with guidelines for staying virus-free. All inclusive price of £60. Anti-virus Tune-up. If you already have an anti-virus application, but don't know if its virus definitions are up to date, or want to be sure it has been effective, I will perform a complete evaluation of your system, give you a clean bill of health and bring you up to date with the most current protection available for your application. Includes tuition. Virus removal from infected machines charged at normal hourly rate.

Home Networking	Connect your home's computers together in a local area network (LAN). Share resources like internet connection, printers, files, storage space and even some applications. Monitor your children's activities remotely.

Broadband Internet & Email	Do you need help installing broadband, or setting up your internet connection? Would you like to set-up and learn to use an email account? I can advise you on how to choose a broadband provider, install the hardware and can even supply parts and accessories.

Tuition	Are you new to computers? Would you like to learn to use the internet, or become familiar with a particular software application? Would you like to be able to create a website? Set up an internet business? One-on-one instruction coupled with freely available tutorials will get you up to speed at your own pace.

Web Design	Have an idea for an internet business? Or Does your group or organisation need a presence on the internet? Web design options from the most basic to full blown e-commerce sites.

Consulting Services & Appraisals	Have questions about purchases, upgrades, security? Want to find the best prices on brand new good quality IT products? Or do you want to know how much your 2nd user equipment will bring on the open market? I am available at my standard hourly rate to answer all the above and just about any other computing/IT questions you may have. Usually half an hour will do the trick, so you would pay only £15.

Disposals & Recycling	I will pick up obsolete or non-working computers or parts and either re-use them in system refurbishing or dispose of them in an ecologically responsible way for a flat fee of £10.
